The Brong Ahafo Regional Police have arrested a seventy year old man, Kwadjo Adu, for allegedly defiling a six year old girl.

According to the Brong Ahafo regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), ASP Christopher Tawiah, the suspect was arrested following a complaint from the sister of the victim and would be processed for court.
“Police had information from one Ofusua Charity that her sister who is six years old has been defiled by one Kwadjo Adu who is aged seventy years; and we went ahead and arrested the issue,” he said.
He indicated that the Kwadjo Adu in currently in custody of the Police and would soon be processed for court.
According to ASP Christopher Tawiah, although the suspect was a man who has desire for sex with women, the act he engaged himself in was “a violation of the law and it is the court that would ascertain his motive” for engaging in such a practice.
