The Managing Director of the State Housing Company Dr Mark Nii Akwei Ankrah has been asked to proceed on leave with immediate effect.

Consequently a committee chaired by a Director at Minister of Water Resources Works and Housing, has been inaugurated to investigate the MD for alleged financial malfeasance.
The source also tells Citi News that the investigations were triggered by a formal complaint made to the ministry by some staff members of the company.
The Ministry has also dissolved the company’s board with immediate effect.
