Under the theme ‘Projecting New Frontiers in Media and Entertainment to Sustain the African Business,’ host of the Citi Breakfast Show, Bernadino Koku Avle and Legendary musician Michael Okyere Darko well known as Obrafour will make their appearance at the upcoming edition of the Corporate Dialogue of Role Model Africa.
The quarterly Corporate Dialogue of Role Model Africa is scheduled to take place on Sunday 22nd May 2016, to mark its third edition.
Role Model Africa is a mentoring initiative tailored for the African youth who want to replicate the success of their business in other African countries.
Its main feature, the Corporate Dialogue engages an African personalities whose contributions on the continent are worthy of emulation.
The Corporate Dialogue intercommunicates with African Presidents, Business Owners, Founders of Churches and African Global Companies, International African Leaders, African Policy and Decision Makers, Influential personalities in the Arts, Business Magnates and you name them.
The Director of News Programming at Citi FM, Mr. Bernard Koku Avle will share his perspectives on new developments in media that can be purchased to sustain the industry.
Mr. Avle, who was recently adjudged one of Ghana 20 most influential business leaders under 40 by the renowned Business World Magazine, is by far the youngest personality to be hosted on the platform of Role Model Africa.
The suspense is only expected to mount daily as audiences seek to appreciate the wonderful delivery to be made by the Chevening Scholar whose show was in 2007 adjudged the Interactive/Talk Show of the year by BBC’s Africa Radio Awards.
With about 15 years of experience in broadcasting, Bernard who was previously a volunteer at the University of Ghana’s ‘Radio Univers’ will relate his transition, to help audience value the opportunities available for them and the relevance of adapting to new trends in business.
Mr. Avle’s capacity at Citi FM spots how he directs a team of young hardworking news professionals who produce and cover news for Ghana and several audiences both on radio and online.
The Edward R. Murrow Fellow of Journalism will make his appearance on the Corporate Dialogue of Role Model Africa on Sunday 22nd May at the African Regent Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The Legenadary Hiplife Artiste Mr. Michael Okyere Dark well known by his stage name, Obrafour, would in addition be speaking on theme blending his experiences in music and business to illuminate the function of making ones initiatives in transgenerational.
Obrafour who is owner of the Execution Records Label has succeeded in using his platform to unearth several talents in the Ghana music scene. Affectionately called Rap Sofour (Priest), the award-winning legend would address a mass aggregate of spirited audience at the African Regent Hotel on new ideas that can be secured to succour the entertainment industry in such a way that it can further heighten developments in Africa.
The award-winning musician released his first album ‘Pae Mu Ka’ in 1999. The positive results of this album was among others underscored by one of the songs on the list ‘Kwame Nkrumah’, a track which paid resonating accolades to the Founding President of Ghana, inspiring Ghanaians to be united in their efforts to work for the best for the country. Other notable songs include ‘Maame’, a track which is a toast on Mother’s Day for most Ghanaians and his lead single Nya NteteE PA (Be disciplined) a song which occurred at the same time with his effort to join the then Ghana Vice President’s efforts to fight indiscipline in the country.
Mr. Avle and Mr. Darko will be sharing perspectives on the theme: Projecting New Frontiers in Media and Entertainment to Sustain the African Business. The convener; Mr. Samuel Agyeman-Prempeh (Co-Founder and Executive Director of Invents) shares that the program is opened to the general public and is set to attract key stakeholders from various parts of Africa. As has been characteristic of the corporate dialogue, the event which starts at 3pm is expected to observe seated audience 30 minutes ahead of the program.
