[Photos]: Nana Addo leads NPP in ‘Wɔn Gbo’ demo

Nana Akufo-Addo, the New Patriotic Party(NPP) flagbearer is leading supporters of the party on the streets of Accra to demonstrate against the government.

The ‘Wɔn Gbo’ demonstration according to the NPP, is to show their displeasure over the worsening power crisis and economic challenges in the country.

Clad in black and red with placards, the NPP supporters are singing and drumming as they march in some principal streets of the city.

Nana Akufo-Addo was flanked by his running mate Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong and Nana Addo’s contender in the NPP congress Alan Kyeremanteng.

In a related development,  pressure group Occupy Ghana has thrown its weight behind the NPP demonstration describing it as a step in the right direction.

Media Relations Officer for Occupy Ghana George Kojo Anti says government must sit up to address the concerns of the many Ghanaians suffering under economic hardship.
