“We are going to investigate to find out who were at fault. Maybe certainly part of the problem could be at the doorstep of the school authorities but we are careful not to draw conclusion on that until investigations are carried out,” he said.

The Deputy Regional Director who expressed remorse about the incident adding that “the Regional Directorate is very curious in this issue and the regional director is asking that an independent investigation be conducted in the issue and culprits brought to book.”

Adio Rahkib Yushau Turawah was allegedly shot by one of the officers who were sent to the school to maintain law and order after the students rioted over sexual act between two of the male students.

Meanwhile, the Police have arrested three of its officers who were allegedly involved in the shooting incident.
