Berekum Chelsea have stated they are out to get even with Inter Allies as they clash in Week 22 of the First Capital Plus Premier Leagueon Wednesday.
The two met on Sunday in the MTN FA Cup in Berekum and the Tema-based side clinched that march via a 1-0 scoreline but that result has given the Blues hope of a similar return away from home.
“The league and the FA Cup might be different competitions but we see the match as the second leg of a home-and-away tie. They beat us in the cup and progressed and now, it our turn to get a result. We are going all out and we are confident of winning”, said Isaac Amponsah, Berekum Chelsea’s Public Relations Officer.
Even though the two clubs are separated by 6 places and 7 points, Chelsea are not dismissive of their opponents especially as they have found very good results in the second round with two wins and two draws in their last four league matches.
“The match will be difficult for us because if you look at how Inter Allies are playing at the moment, they will be solid.
They have done well to have moved from the bottom and they are not too far away from us on the table especially on the points difference.
However, we need to beat them as they did in Berekum on Sunday.”
