The Board Chair of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), Angelina Mornah Domakyaareh has vehemently rejected accusations that the Authority has failed to lived up to expectation.

SADA which was set up years ago to bridge the development gap between the North and South has come under intense criticims in recent times  for misappropriating public funds.

They have also been accused of misusing about GHs 19 million cedis meant to secure tractors for government.

“..SADA has had challenges, but SADA has not failed and SADA will not fail.As a human institution you can have failures but as indicated earlier, …having failures doesn’t mean we have failed.” she stated.

She was optimistic SADA will deliver on its mandate to turn its image around.

“With the institution of engineers ready to support us, we know that we are going to deliver, which will turn our image around…”she stated.

According to her SADA has accessed its challenges and has restrategised to avoid pitfalls in the future.

“We have reaccessed the performance of SADA, vis-a vis the challenges  and we have re-strategised. We are going to avoid the pitfalls that led to the image bashing and we think we are on right course not to go that way again.”
