Embattled hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese is still on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.

Kwaw Kese was rushed to the hospital on December 24 after complaining of severe stomach ache.

This is the second time the hiplife musician has sought medical attention for stomach ache since his arrest on November 22.

[contextly_sidebar id=”wQD325pDEX69YnPqAwGAsSGzi2CRKsYn”]Kwaw Kese, born Emmanuel Botchway was arrested for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be Indian hemp in public, at a drinking spot close to the popular ‘+2 Pub’ in Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.

All his four attempts at securing bail were refused and he is scheduled to re-appear in court on January 5, 2015.

The Senior Administrative Director at KATH’s Public Relations Unit, Ernest Abban told Citi News, his checks on Monday indicated that Kwaw Kese was still on admission.

“He was still on admission this morning when I asked the nurses in charge,” adding that it is unclear when he will be discharged although he is responding to treatment.

Mr. Abban also stated that the original security arrangements are still in place “because usually, that is what is done. Whenever the Prisons Service brings a patient, they stay around until the person is discharged but I was told he is still on admission.”
