Music producer “Goodies,” who was incarcerated for attempting to transport cocaine to the UK about seven years ago has been released.

Isaac Abeiku Aidoo, popularly known as “Goodies,” was sentenced to thirteen years imprisonment in November 2008 after about 80 pellets of cocaine was found on him at the Kotoka International Airport.

Citi news has gathered that he was released on Tuesday December 23.

Reasons for his early release remain unclear.

But Citi News checks at his family home have revealed that the  family members are elated about his “early” and “unexpected” release, one of them said.

Before he was jailed, Goodies was one of the biggest producers in Ghana’s music industry, producing some of the biggest hits with big names like Lord Kenya, Tic Tac, VIP, Mzbel, Sydney among others.
