The National Service Secretariat (NSS) has announced that the November allowance for National Service personnel will be paid on December 29, 2014.
[contextly_sidebar id=”gpFwIOtK3gEcprIXQOrG3gUemawXViw5″]A statement from the NSS Acting Executive Director, Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte said all the necessary auditing and validation of pay vouchers at the NSS Secretariat for the payment of money have been completed.
He also announced that all cheques have been dispatched to the various regions to complete the process of payment of personnel allowances.
Dr. Kpessa-Whyte added that every District Director of the Scheme is expected to begin payment of the allowances by the 29th of December and thus, advised service personnel to contact their respective NSS District Offices to go through the payment processes.
The management of the NSS expressed its appreciation to all service personnel across the country “for their sacrifices, dedication, and contribution to government’s agenda of improving the livelihood of Ghanaians.”
They however appealed to user agencies to use the opportunities presented by the yuletide to show appreciation for the work and contributions of service personnel to national development.
