The 2016 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo has delivered the 100 motorbikes he promised the various regional offices of the party.

Nine Regional Chairmen of the New Patriotic Party, together with the 2nd Vice Regional Chairman from the Greater Accra Region, on Monday received the 100 motorbikes promised.

Nana Akufo-Addo made the promise as his way of thanking the delegates of the party for their tremendous show of support in the October 18 presidential primary.

On November 13, 2014, Nana Addo, in an open letter to all NPP members, indicated that he had begun “the process of mobilizing resources and logistics, ahead of election 2016, for the prosecution of an effective campaign.”

According to him, he, together with some friends had begun the first phase of equipping the party which will see every region receive 10 motorbikes.
