African presidents lobby for investors

African leaders gathered at the maiden edition of the Global African Investments summit in London have made a strong case for investments into the continent.

The leaders who include ECOWAS chair and President of Ghana John Mahama, Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and Prime Minister of Tanzania Mizengo Pinda told a gathering of investors that Africa offers the best returns on investments hence their call.

Over one hundred and thirty bankable projects worth close to two hundred and fifty billion dollars in the sectors of natural resources, agribusiness, power and critical infrastructure will be presented at the two day summit.

“… Africa is not the same continent that people perceived it to be. It’s a continent that is taking its place in the world; there are more elections taking place which is open.”

“There is more http://trueviagraonline.com vibrant media landscape, respect for the rule of law, human rights and I think a lot of the growth we are seeing in Africa is a result of the democratic dividends  that is beginning to pay off in all the countries that we have. But certainly there is something good happening in Africa and I think investors all over the world must come and have a look,” President Mahama added.

Rwandan President Paul Kagame on the same subject at the summit also said: “Investing in Rwanda in East Africa, your money will be safe, you will have high returns in the country and our citizens will benefit and we will develop well. So everything is okay and the areas to invest, the frame work that is provided is a conducive opportunities and you are most welcome.”
