The youth wing of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Western Region have also pledged their support to Nana Akufo-Addo, one of the party’s presidential hopefuls.

This is one of the many open endorsements for the two-time presidential candidate, ahead of the party’s upcoming congress on October, 18.

NPP’s constituency and polling station executives in Adaklu in the Volta region, the Greater Accra Constituency branch and the regional and constituency youth organizers in the Upper East Region have all declared support for Nana Addo.

The Minority leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has also said Nana Addo is a candidate worth voting for because of his rich cridentials.

“Considering the outcome of the super delegates’ congress in the Western Region, it is obviously clear that among the three candidates, only one; Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was cleared to contest because the remaining two Mr Alan Kyeremanteng and Mr Addai Nimo had zero,” he said.

He added that, “We hereby endorse the candidature of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to lead our party into the 2016 general elections.”

Meanwhile, Nana Akufo-Addo and Alan Kyeremanten who are all hoping to lead the party in the 2016 elections are currently campaigning in the various regions.
