fuelVehicles travelling from Accra to Kasoa have been asked to return to Accra due to fears of a possible explosion after a collision between a fuel tanker and a Sprinter bus.

Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show, an eyewitness at the scene, Kwabena  Danquah said: “Four cars travelling from Accra to Kasoa had so far been asked to return to Accra as a result of the accident.”

He also stated that the personnel of the Ghana Fire Service and the Police were at the scene to control the incident saying, “the Fire Service is here and they are sprinkling water to control the situation.”

According to him, the area where the accident occurred was not a residential area although there were shops  situated around.
