Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Christopher Tawiah, the Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), confirmed the incident and said no arrests had been made yet.
He said police investigations revealed that the girls failed to lock the metal gate at the entrance of the dormitory and the armed robbers took advantage and entered their room.
ASP Tawiah advised the general public to be security conscious because the police cannot be available at all places to prevent crime.
