Tragedy struck Buoho, a sprawling community in the Afigya-Kwabre District in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday when two men drowned in a well.

The deceased Prince Darko, 30, and Samuel Teikwae, 40, had been contracted to remove silt from the well, when they fell into it.

He gave his name as Joseph Tawiah and said he is on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in critical condition.

ACP Oduro- Kwarteng advised the people to engage professionals with the right machinery to dig and dredge their wells to prevent such accidents.

The bodies of the deceased had been deposited at the KATH mortuary for autopsy.
