New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful, Nana Akufo-Addo has picked the number one spot on the ballot paper which will be used during the party’s October 18 congress.

The NPP on Friday conducted a balloting exercise for the three presidential aspirants who will be contesting to lead the NPP in the 2016 general elections.

Two out of the five candidates who made it onto the final list of five; Kofi Osei Ameyaw and Joe Ghartey have bowed out of the competition leaving only three candidates, Nana Akufo-Addo, Alan Kyeremanten and Francis Addai Nimoh.

The results from the balloting are;
1. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo – First on the Ballot.
2. Francis Addai Nimoh – Second on the Ballot
3. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen – Third on the Ballot.

The New Patriotic Party today conducted balloting for the three Presidential Aspirants who have indicated their desire to continue with the process to elect the flagbearer of the Party scheduled for the 18th October 2014.

The results of the balloting are:
1. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo – First on the Ballot.
2. Hon Francis Addai Nimoh – Second on the Ballot
3. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen – Third on the Ballot.

We wish to remind all aspirants, their Spokespersons, Agents and assigns to STRICTLY RESPECT, ABIDE BY THE GUIDELINES, RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING the presidential primaries.
Further guidelines will be communicated in due course
