Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) has launched a new and exciting campaign dubbed ‘Guinness made of black’.

The Guiness #madeofblack campaign is to celebrate Ghanaians who are not afraid to express themselves and are carving their own path in life.

In celebrating the ‘GUINNESS MADE OF BLACK’ campaign, Guiness has teamed up with hip-life artistes,  Fuse ODG, Shatta Wale and E.L who are expected to star in short Selfie videos which will be posted online for fans to view.

GUINNESS LAUNCHES ‘MADE OF BLACK’ CAMPAIGN

Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) Ghana’s Only Total Beverage Business has launched a new and exciting campaign dubbed ‘GUINNESS MADE OF BLACK’. The Pan African campaign was rolled out on the 27th of August through both Pan African and local media channels. The nation’s favourite stout took over key television stations – MTV Base, Viasat 1 and 4Syte TV live to launch the action-packed #madeofblack campaign.

Led at the Pan African level by Ghanaian artiste Fuse ODG, the GUINNESS #madeofblack campaign celebrates Ghanaians who aren’t afraid to express themselves and who are carving their own path in life. #madeofblack will provide a stage for them to showcase their flair and imagination and share their own #madeofblack attitude.  GUINNESS embodies this same mind set. It is an iconic beer that has the darkest liquid, but the brightest flavours. A beer that has lived in the hearts and minds of millions in Ghana, Africa and across the world for over 250 years, GUINNESS has always had the authenticity, boldness and vision to do things differently.

Fuse ODG will be joined by two of Ghana’s most celebrated artiste Shatta Wale and E.L who will show us how they are #madeofblack in short Selfie videos that will be available to view online. These videos will then ask, “What are you made of?” to give people from across the country a chance to tell their story.

Commenting on the campaign, Fuse ODG said “GUINNESS is celebrating the individuals across Ghana who share the #madeofblack attitude. We’re asking real people who have a boldness that can’t be contained, to join the movement and tell us what they’re made of at www.madeofblack.com.  I am made of passion, I am #madeofblack, what are you made of?  Share the attitude.  Leave your mark.”

Judith Osei Ampofo, Ag Marketing Director, GGBL said “The GUINNESS #madeofblack campaign will showcase a cross section of real people and the true stories behind them. The creative ones, the entrepreneurs, the dancers, the singers, the artists, the dreamers, the doers; people united by their shared attitude. #madeofblack is not about colour, it is an attitude that epitomises the individuals who aren’t afraid to express themselves. GUINNESS is an iconic beer that isn’t afraid to express itself either and only GUINNESS has the heritage, quality and uniqueness to bring this #madeofblack campaign to Ghana. We’re now counting down to the MTV Base Hour Black, which will take place on Wednesday 8th October celebrating everything, #madeofblack.
