In a quest to support pupils and students prepare effectively for their final West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) exams, Vodafone Ghana in partnership with RevoEducation has introduced a ‘Free Passco’ platform on its ‘Instant Schools’ portal.

Instant Schools is an online platform where students and pupils can access a wide range of educational materials with just a click of the button.

Free Passco has been introduced to further enhance the learning experience of pupils in Junior High Schools and Senior High School students, by offering them access to a bouquet of past Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) questions on different subjects, including Maths and English.

Ebenezer Amankwah, Corporate Relations Manager at Vodafone Ghana said the ‘free Passco’ initiative puts all past questions, beginning from 1990, at the finger-tips of students.

“The Foundation is adding up to the existing instant school initiative with free past questions to help students prepare adequately for their first external exams. We are committed to equipping students with the right resources to boost their confidence ahead of their exams. Our partnership with RevoEducation is certainly a welcome one as we seek to transform the educational sector by putting technological innovation at the centre of it.”

Commenting on the partnership, Archibald Annan, Founder of RevoEducation said:

“Our passion over the years is to make educational materials readily available to every student across the country. It is an empowerment tool that will hopefully make access simpler and convenient and give us confidence that we are building a better future for our children.”

The Vodafone Instant Schools Initiative was launched in 2016 to provide an online platform where students from basic to tertiary levels can have access to educational resources in subjects such as Mathematics, Arts, Business and Science courses with comparable quality, range and depth to those available in schools in the developed world.  With support from ‘Learning Equality’ and the Khan Academy, Vodafone Foundation’s online classroom can be accessed via www.vodafone.com.gh.
