Police Superintendent Bossman Ohene-Boadi, the Konongo Divisional Commander, has called for increased public support to identify and bring to book persons who break the law.

He said it was important for the public to provide the police with useful information that will lead to the arrest and persecution of criminals.

He also called for the supply of vital logistics to enable the police perform its duties efficiently to ensure public safety and security.

He was speaking at a presentation ceremony to receive two motorbikes from the Asante-Akim South District Assembly for the Juaso police.

The motorbikes, which cost GHȼ10,400.00, are meant to enhance the mobility of the police to help fight crime in the district.

SP Bossman Ohene-Boadi said the police service is determined to work hard to protect lives and property in the area.

He gave the assurance that the motorbikes would be put to good use and properly maintained.

Mr. De-graft Forkuo, the District Chief Executive (DCE), pledged to do everything within his means to support the police to perform.

He entreated the officers to uphold high standards of professionalism and remain vigilant, as the nation inched closer to general election.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Samuel Sandow Latebu, the District Commander, commended the assembly for the gesture.
