Reports indicate that the teacher unions in Ghana may embark on a demonstration if efforts are not made to get staff of the Audit service validating the documents of teachers to return to their post.

The Audit service staff Citi News understands walked out of the validation centre  over their housing facilities which they describe as poor.

It is recalled that the teacher unions threatened a massive demonstration to demand their unpaid arrears.

Although some have been validated a large number still remains to be scrutinized.

But the exercise faces a challenge now with the said walkout by the Audit service staff working on the project.

The development is reported to have angered the various teacher unions and Citi News understands that if the problem is not resolved the teachers might hit the streets.
