The interdicted President of the Korle-Bu Senior Staff Association, KOSSA, Charles Offei Palm, has dismissed claims that he has been sacked.

According to him, he has not formally received any letter from the management of the hospital regarding his reported dismissal.

He is currently challenging his interdiction in court.

Tensions between KOSSA and the management of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital have intensified the past weeks after the association accused the board and management of mismanagement.

Speaking to Citi News, Charles Offei Palm, indicated that he does not consider himself dismissed until the right procedures are followed.

“As I speak to you now, I have not been given any official letter neither have I received any letter indicating that my appointment has been terminated. As it stands now, Charles Offei Palm is still on interdiction and until I have received a final notification I have not been dismissed. Whatever is circulating appears to be mere rumors”, he said.

He wondered why the management would consider dismissing him when there is a pending case against the hospital on his interdiction.

“My lawyers have filed a writ on my behalf and have successfully served the respondents and they have acknowledged receipt of the writ so why will they even consider this action if it is true”, he argued.
