The Vice-Presidential candidate of the National Reform Party (NRP) in the 2000 presidential election, Cletus Kosiba has passed on.

Mr. Kosiba was a former Executive Director of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and worked at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) as a Deputy Director.

He served as a Board member of a number of Institutions including the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Bolgatanga Polytechnic, Quality Insurance Company (QIC) and was a member of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana (IPR).

He died at the Ridge Hospital in Accra last Saturday after a short illness.

A member of the family, Ben Assurow told Citi News, the family will meet on Tuesday at Christ the King Parish at 5.30 pm to fix a date for burial.

“Of course we will have to officially inform the (AGI), (GIPC), the party and if possible the government because he was a public figure,” he added.
