He revealed that the project will start alongside the party’s 2016 campaign.

Freddie Blay further emphasized the need for party members to work together to ensure a successful campaign in 2016.

“The work ahead of us cannot be done by party executives alone nor our parliamentary candidates. I want to encourage party officers across the constituency to take seriously the need to accommodate and encourage those I will call volunteers for change.Very soon we will be calling on all of you here to make contributions towards our goal, our objectives and the building of a strong self reliant party.”

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, Nana Akufo-Addo, and his running mate Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia, are among top party members and hundreds of party executives present at the conference.

The conference, which is allowed by the party’s constitution to take place particularly ahead of a major election, is among other things, is to enable the party take stock of recent happenings in its fold and agree on a way forward into the 2016 general elections.

Over three thousand delegates are taking part in the conference.
