Black Stars midfielder Andre Ayew has told his teammates to remain grounded and think of making it to the 2018 World Cup in Russia despite beating Comoros 2-0 on Tuesday.

“Well, it was an expected victory with all due respect to Comoros. We need not be swollen-headed. We are Ghana and we are the best team in Africa. We need to stay calm. Our aim is to get to the World Cup in Russia so we need to stay humble. Let us not think we have done it all.”

Ghana and 19 other African countries will go into final stage of qualifying for the next World Cup to determine the 5 countries which will represent the continent in Russia.
