Vodafone saddened by murder of  ‘hardworking’ marketing officer

Telecommunications, company Vodafone has expressed its sadness over the death of one of its employees, Ebow Panford-Quainoo.

Mr. Panford-Quainoo was shot dead on Wednesday by unidentified burglars at his residence at Sakumono in the Greater Accra Region.

[contextly_sidebar id=”OW3HFUPHTANWlx5lV0C8XyjUo20fnMA0″]His wife, who was traumatised but wasn’t physically harmed in the attack, was taken to a nearby health facility for treatment.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Vodafone described Ebow Panford-Quainoo as a “hardworking and dedicated young man who was passionate about bringing excellent customer service to his clients.”

“Ebow joined Vodafone in October 2013 as an Account Manager in charge of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) with Vodafone Business Solutions…Ebow will be sorely missed from both a personal and professional standpoint,” the statement from Vodafone added.

The company expressed its sincere condolences to the wife and family of the deceased and promised to support them as much as they can.

Vodafone also stated that they remained hopeful that the investigation by the police into the incident would be fruitful and the perpetrators of the act will be brought to justice.

The police have also called on members of public with information on the suspected robbers to voluntarily offer the information to the police.”
