Accra Academy wins Vodafone Icons High School Edition [Photos]

The young and gallant men from the Accra Academy beat off competition from five other schools to emerge winners of this year’s High School Edition of the Vodafone Icons.

For their prize, their school were presented with a music studio and they will also represent Ghana in Turkey for the Global Vodafone High School Competition.

Osei Tutu Senior High School from the Ashanti Region and Adisadel College from the Central Region placed second and third respectively.

Each of the participants from the three schools will enjoy scholarship from Vodafone.

Isaac Nyamekye was adjudged the Best male vocalist; Best Instrumentalist went to Obeng Tutu.

The grande finale of the competition was held on Tuesday at the Accra International Conference Centre.
