The Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has begun a nationwide campaign to mobilize majority of the country’s youth to vote against the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress in the 2016 election.
[contextly_sidebar id=”mumT7IPu2FDvPtx5rV6xh4sgojZEiWNv”]The nationwide campaign according to the party’s National Youth Organizer, Sammy Awuku, is to draw support for the party in next year’s election.
“The enthusiasm that I have seen encourages me to even work more harder and mind you they are poised for change. They are not interested in the ugly noise that seem to be going on.”
He said the youth are solidly behind the presidential candidate and running mate “and we are poised to carry the party on our shoulders to move from opposition to government.”
“That decision is irreversible and the resolve is irrevocable. So we are on, the train is moving, very soon all those who are lagging behind will soon join the train.”
Their campaign follows the ‘Rise and Build’ tour by the party’s flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.
Nana Addo is visiting all the ten regions in the country ahead of his 2016 campaign.
