97.3 Citi FM’s Family Consecration is scheduled to take place this morning at the Winners Chapel, Circle in Accra.

This family worship service is the opening activity preceding the many activities lined up for Citi FM’s Family Month.

The Family Consecration which is in its 9th year aims at providing Godly interventions for persons afflicted by life’s trials and pressures, healing from bloodline diseases, childlessness, family curses and delayed marriages.

The service will bring hundreds of families together to thank God and ask for further blessings for the rest of the year.

It is being spearheaded by Citi FM’s ‘This is your day’ team – Pastor Steven Yenusom Wengham and Pastor Freddie MacDavies.

Pastor Wengham earlier told Citi News, the major highlight for Thursday’s programme “is a time of quality praise and worship, blessing the Lord for sustaining families who have gone through difficult times but the Lord has been good to Ghana and our families.”

According to him, there will also be four different session of intense prayer time and the renewal of vows by married couples, prayer for Ghana and an anointing service.

Other activities lined up by Citi FM include a Cook For Mama competition; a promotion specifically designed to celebrate mothers ahead of mother’s day which falls on Sunday 11th May, The Family Finance Series; a daily 15 minutes segment on the Citi Breakfast Show through which listeners  would get quality insights into managing family finances to ensure stability and growth.

The Family Month will be then be climaxed with a Family Fun Day Out which will enable families to spend quality time, get together and have some family fun at the serene Rufus Green Park, in Katamanso – near Regimanuel Grey Estate off the Dodowa road on May 26, 2014
