Carex promotes hygiene among pupils

The Brand Development and Activation Manager of CAREX, PZ Cussons Ghana, Ewuraba Ekua Adusei, has admonished parents and teachers to instill in pupils values that will promote Hygiene.

Mrs. Adusei made the call at this year`s Carex Ambassadors’ Workshop in Accra on Saturday, September 26, 2015.

During the workshop, over 60 pupils who were selected as Carex Ambassadors’ from various schools in Accra were taken through series of best hygienic practices that that will equip them to become Agents of Change in their schools.

As part of their role, the Carex Ambassadors will also train their peers in the “Hands Up for Hygiene Activation”.

The activation is basically to teach children the proper ways of hand washing and how to keep their hands clean.

The Ambassadors also have a leadership role to play during this year`s Global Hand Washing Day on October 15.
