11 battle for vacant Bolga MCE position

About eleven (11) members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are eyeing for the Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive position.

The position have been vacant since the handing over of office by former MCE Edward Ayiriba Ayagle to Upper East Regional Minister, James Zuugah Tiigah on  August 18, 2015 after his 4-year tenure of office elapsed.

[contextly_sidebar id=”O15CgsItrQFIGaFynjTQFU3AMDcSij3q”]The process for short listing  candidates for nomination by President Mahama  to fill the vacant  Bolgatanga MCE position  commenced on Friday at the Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly with 11 applicants vetted.

The applicants are:

1.Edward Ayiriba Ayagle – Immediate former MCE

2.Harry Epsona Ayamga – Former MCE

3.Chriatiana Ayinzoya Azure –  Bolga East constituency Women Organizer

4.Noble Asakyeya Alagskomah –  U/E chairman Coalition of NGOs in Health

5.Gregory Agana Amoah- Retired Director GES Bolga

6.Roland Atanga Ayoo-  Non-formal coordinator Nabdam District/ Former Bolga central constituency secretary.

7.Benedict K.K.Adongo- General  Manager NASONA Oil/Business man

  1. Alhaji Abubakar Mamudu- Retired finance office Binduri District Assembly
  2. Orlando Samari Yamba- Commercial Farmer
  3. Atingabono Roland- Deputy Director (Supervision) GES Talensi District

11.Philip Adongo Aboore- Non- formal coordinator Bolga Municipal/ Bolga central constituency  organizer.

The above applicants will be prune down to 3 or 5 for onward submission to President Mahama for nomination .

The nominee must secure two-third of assembly members present and voting for confirmation as  Bolga MCE.
