Ghanaian hip hop artiste EL has disclosed that his latest mixtape, Bar 2, is his most honest piece yet.

“This is my most honest piece of work so far. I believe that as you continue to grow as an artiste you become more comfortable and able to express yourself so much easier. I thought people should get exposed to that side of EL,” he told Citi FM’s Philip Ashong on Traffic Avenue.

[contextly_sidebar id=”cK6pEGDLvj4gQZpZSsD4AFiTxHoTSMOH”]The Bar 2 mixtape will be officially outdoored at the Tigo Music Bar Concert on Saturday.

EL, whose real name is Elorm Adablah, said this year’s concert will be bigger than last year.

“This is a big venture we are doing. It will not happen in a room at the World Trade Center. It is the World Trade Center. It is a three tier stand we will do; once you get there you will know what we are doing. People will pick it up as soon as we start it.”

He also advised upcoming musicians to educate themselves because “I’m a huge believer in education. When you have more knowledge there is so much you can do, you can go far in any thing you do. Ten rap commandments was me breaking down my experiences. I thought I would share that.”

Last year’s Bar Concert was held at Alliance Francaise but this year’s will be at the World Trade Center on August 29, 2015.

Artists on the bill include Gemini, Joey B, Pappy Kojo, Jayso, Fokn Bois, Kidd Black, Cabum, Recognize Ali, X.O Senavoe, Kojo Cue, and many others.
