Following the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary primaries, the battle line has been drawn between the party’s Northern Regional Youth Organizer, Alhaji Mohammed Adam Amin Abio and the Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu constituency, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini.
[contextly_sidebar id=”ReiPLQc0tFXkRbYq7a0qRtFt061YGlAO”]Alhaji Abio who for the second time is in the Sagnarigu Parliamentary race has accused Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini of wasting his four-year term in Parliament.
The NDC Northern Regional Youth Organizer in a Citi News interview exclusively posited, “Imagine where a constituency exists without a constituency secretariat and you have a sitting Member of Parliament who is closer to four years in Parliament and cannot even get an office to hire to the extent that a chief has volunteered land for us to put up a constituency office and he refused simply because he doesn’t like where the constituency capital is: my coming will be a salvaging point to the people and will even be a liberation point especially to students in that constituency and the vulnerable.”
Alhaji Abio who doubles as the NDC Regional Youth Organizer and regional Coordinator of the Youth Employment Authority insisted that the Sagnarigu Legislator, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini has outlived his usefulness in Parliament.
“I have renewed my interest to contest Sagnarigu which was truncated due to technical reasons in the last time round that was the 2012 Parliamentary primary and my coming is nothing but to give hope to the people of Sagnarigu constituency and to save the dwindling fortunes of the NDC in that particular constituency.”
Alhaji Abio further accused Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini of creating division among NDC executives in the Sagnarigu constituency.
“Not only his inability to develop the area as expected but I can also say that he has sharply divided the constituency as he met it even the constituency executives he has sharply divided them: he has chosen to work with only four and this four people cannot take the party to wherever we anticipate taking it to.”
Attempts to establish contact with Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini proved futile.
