The private banking unit of Universal Merchant Bank (UMB), also known as the Prominence Club, held a seminar on Succession Planning for Prominence Club members at UMB’s head office in Airport City.
The seminar, which was conducted in partnership with KPMG Ghana, is part of a quarterly seminar series aimed at discussing relevant topics that will enhance the businesses and investments of members of the Prominence Club.
In his welcome address, the Managing Director/CEO of UMB, Mr. John Awuah stated that, “At UMB, our core philosophy is to put the customer first; to put you first. The keynote presentation on succession planning was delivered by Mr. Andy O. Akoto, a partner at KPMG Ghana. The presentation touched on core concepts of succession planning and how participants can build sustainable businesses that thrive long after they have exited their organizations.
At the end of the event, participants expressed their appreciation to UMB for such a relevant and informative session.
