Prices of commodities this week were quite stable with some commodities experiencing marginal gains.
The highest gainer was fresh cassava which saw a 7 percent increase while a tuber of yam also gained about 6 percent increase.
Checks by Esoko Ghana showed that gari, cowpea (white) and groundnut (shelled) all gained a percentage point each across the various markets in the country.
Tomatoes lost 6 percent to close the week at GH 6.50 per “medium size tomato tin”.
Some of the remaining commodities also experienced no change in price.
An olunka of maize prices remained stable in most markets across the country.
