Journalists tour Voltic Ghana plant at Akwadum

Leading bottled natural mineral water producer, Voltic (GH) Limited has reassured consumers of its continued adherence to best manufacturing processes and standards to maintain its top notch quality for consumer satisfaction.

The company currently has about 70 percent market share and is bent on remaining a market leader as it marks it 20th year of operating in Ghana. General Manager of Voltic (GH) Limited, Phillip Redman has stressed that “we will never compromise on quality as we have the health and satisfaction of our cherished consumers at heart. Voltic will continue to lead the way with innovative packaging and merchandising.”

Mr Redman was speaking to a group of journalists during a tour of his company’s new manufacturing plant at Akwadum near Nsawam, in the Eastern Region.

The tour was aimed at solidifying an existing relationship with the media and further deepen stakeholder confidence in the company’s operations and the high international standards under which Voltic mineral water is produced.

It also afforded management of the company the opportunity to fraternize with media practitioners and appreciate them for their enormous support to the Voltic brand.

“Voltic has a good relationship with the media and as such we have been a worthy support of the annual GJA Awards as well as the World Press Freedom Day. Bringing you here is to enable you have a fair idea of how we do our work.”

Mr Redman noted that as a passionate and engaging brand, “our priorities are our consumers, customers and local community in which we operate. Most importantly, as a subsidiary of SABMiller plc., we are enjoined to uphold the tenets of transparency and accountability in our operations.”

He revealed that it is in line with these time-tested values that the company painted the offices at the Nsawam Police Station and re-constructed a bridge at Medie to facilitate vehicular traffic. Voltic has also been supporting a local school in Medie (where it has its first plant) since 2012.

The Akwadum Plant Manager, Eugene Djan- Simpson who took the journalists round the manufacturing plant, reiterated the company’s commitment to offering consumers quality and taste reiterating that Voltic is the natural mineral water of choice for discerning throats since it contains essential natural minerals in the right quantities required for the body.

“People are our enduring advantage. We are therefore customer and consumer focused by delivering superior products,” he noted.

Mr Djan-Simpson said the doors of Voltic are always opened to the media and that they should strive to contact the company if they have any enquiries to make.

He reaffirmed Voltic’s readiness to support the media in their quest to uphold the highest journalistic standings.
