The Ministry of Health will today [Tuesday] announce emergency plans it has put in place to mitigate the effect of the doctors’ strike.

A source at the Health Ministry told Citi News they will review their measures and announce more plans to continue providing healthcare to Ghanaians as the doctors’ strike takes a toll.

The doctors in the public sector have been on strike for almost three weeks to demand the provision of a codified conditions of service.

Meanwhile, negotiations between the doctors and government seem to have broken down.
