Four people are reported dead with seven others injured following a shooting incident in Tuobodom, in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Techiman Police Divisional Commander Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Twumasi Ankrah who confirmed the incident to Citi News explained that about five men who were riding motor bikes opened fire on some residents.
According to an eyewitness Anass Sabit, the shooting was sparked by clashes between two factions engaged in a prolonged ethnic and chieftaincy dispute in the area.
The injured have since been admitted at the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman.
Reports also say a house and a car were burnt in the process.
There is an uneasy calm in the town as both the army and the Police from Techiman have been called in to maintain law and order.
