“When it comes to agriculture and agro-processing, we have very fertile land, we have beautiful sunshine and we have a lot of water and so what we need is technology and knowhow,” he said.

According to him, Parma, like Ghana has “thousands of farmers and they have the processing centers and they have the university that does the research in terms of pests, in terms of good seeds, the best practices they must use to increase production and so on.”

This, he said is what informed his government’s decision to partner companies in Parma that have years of experience in agricultural processing and agricultural production.
