The Yfm presenter Miss Ada, who was allegedly raped by unknown assailants has been discharged from the Police Hospital and granted bail after four months at the facility.

[contextly_sidebar id=”UpBm0S0vOmjmhIHIAyGAJjnHi62zLA1A”]She is however attending a daily psychiatric examination pending the completion of some tests, Citi News has gathered.

The Police arrested Miss Ada after claiming that she “staged” the said sexual assault on her.

Photos of the alleged sexual assault were released on facebook, sparking massive nationwide outrage but the Police said they had arrested Miss Ada on five different occasions for similar acts.

The Attorney General is likely to formally charge her for the “creation and circulation” of obscene materials.

In May, a Kaneshie Magistrate court presided over by Mrs Adwoa Akyaamaa Ofosu, sought to inquire when Miss Ada would be discharged but the court at the time was unable to provide the information or disclose the charges that would be preferred against her but ‘conspiracy’ was listed as the charge against one of the alleged conspirators.

Until about a week ago, Miss Ada had been under Police guard at the hospital.

The final report of the psychiatrist is crucial, as that may properly inform the Police on the next line of action after raising doubts about her earlier testimony of being a victim of rape.

One suspect, Nelson Williams, 18, connected to the case has been placed before court for allegedly conspiring with others to circulate the nude pictures of Miss Ada.
