Ghana’s fastest 3G+ network, Vodafone Ghana, has introduced Vodafone Internet Fairs, a nationwide public event aimed at bringing the knowledge and skills of the internet to thousands of individuals and households across the country.

The Fairs, which started at the Rawlings Park in Accra on June 25, 2015, forms part of Vodafone’s commitment to spreading internet connectivity and exposing Ghanaians to the immense benefits of online connectivity.

Additionally, the Fairs will offer Ghanaians access to the various internet bundles and innovative devices available at Vodafone to suit their lifestyles

Commenting on the fair, Agnes Emefa Essah, Director of Marketing at Vodafone Ghana said:

Vodafone Organizes Internet Fair 1

“The internet holds immense benefits for the people of Ghana and can totally transform how we live. At Vodafone, we are keen on improving digital inclusion as a means of increasing citizens’ value in education, business, family and social activities”.

“With our world class network, the internet has become more mobile, faster and convenient.  We believe we can offer increased opportunities for more people to get online and take advantage of the immense wealth of knowledge”.

The fairs coincide with a period of great excitement for the telecommunications giant; having been ranked the best in voice clarity and 3G internet speed by an independent research agency; as well as sweeping three key awards at the just-ended Ghana Telecom Awards including ‘Mobile Broadband Service of the Year’, ‘Best Wholesale Company’ and ‘Telecom Business of the Year’.

The Fairs – supported by Opera Mini, Samsung and Huawei – will be held in various communities in all the 10 regions of Ghana over the next six months.
