Some supporters of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly’s demolition of parts of Accra’s biggest slum, Old Fadama, have also supported the move because according to them, the area habours some of the city’s most notorious robbers, criminals and prostitutes.

One of the slum dwellers in a rather touching story, narrated to the host of Citi FM’s Traffic Avenue, Jessica, that they are living in the most deplorable conditions after their shacks were destroyed.
