The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 26-year-old parliamentary candidate for the Afigya Sekyere East constituency, Mavis Nkansah Boadu on Thursday paid a courtesy call on the party’s flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.
[contextly_sidebar id=”Ew2tgKZkwOINbqtCibsXDKD57PY1mf6G”]The meeting was to formally introduce herself as the newly elected candidate for her constituency for the 2016 election.
Her visit comes a few days after the party’s 22-year-old Kwabre East constituency Parliamentary aspirant paid a similar visit to Nana Addo.
Francisca Oteng Mensah was the youngest aspirant in the NPP’s Parliamentary primaries which was organized last weekend.
She beat three-term MP, Kofi Frimpong and has since been the topic for discussion on social media.
Mr. Frimpong has since admitted that his opponent had a better campaign strategy than he did.
The capabilities of both Francisca and Mavis have been questioned by many who are of the view that the two are not matured and experienced enough to become MPs should they win in the 2016 general elections.
But they have expressed their determination to silence their critics by proving themselves.
