Some National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives in the Saboba District of the Northern Region have rubbished calls for the removal of Adolf Ali from office as the District Chief Executive (DCE).

A group calling itself the aggrieved NDC Youth in Saboba earlier at a news conference threatened to chase the DCE out of office if President John Dramani Mahama ignored calls for his removal.

[contextly_sidebar id=”aUTnPCfZ8nrDXRpPXtrtCWc7M05XzuWy”]The group among several allegations accused the DCE, Adolf Ali of corruption and forming a radical group to terrorize NDC members who are opposing his stewardship.

But some NDC executives in the Saboba constituency at a counter news conference have jumped to the defense of Adolf Ali and described the Aggrieved NDC Youth allegations as frivolous.

The constituency Secretary, Joshua Chemah Yaadang urged President Mahama to ignore calls for Adolf Ali’s dismissal.

He posited that any attempt to sack Adolf Ali could thwart government’s transformational agenda in the area.

Joshua Yaadang said the DCE’s sterling performance was in line with the Better Ghana agenda.

“The DCE is very approachable to all especially party members: we acknowledge the fact that the DCE is not God to perfect without blemish, all party occasions have been duly supported solely by the DCE and his able MP.”

He added that the DCE in collaboration with the Saboba MP, Hon. Bukari Nikpe Joseph has developed the area to an appreciable level.

“Ironically, Nikpe/Adolf ticket has witnessed unprecedented and tremendous developmental programs and projects in the history of the Saboba constituency that are evidential for any discerning member of the district to appreciate.”

Joshua Chemah Yaadang advised NDC members in the area to use laid down procedures in addressing their grievances.

He further implored the NDC youth to desist from character assassination to satisfy their paymasters.
