The Volta Regional Security Council will be meeting over the two successive shooting incidents in Nkonya within two days.

His killing was followed by the shooting of a 31-year- old woman by unknown assailants.
The Ankobea Hene of Nkonya, Nanai Apem Daako has described as unbearable, the incessant attacks on his people.
Nanai said an emergency State Council meeting is going to be held to determine how to respond to the attacks.
“I am just organizing an emergency meeting so that we will call them and see exactly what we will do…,” he said.
Meanwhile the Chief of Alavanyo Togbui Atakora Tsedze has condemned the shooting incidents in Nkonya.
He has also called on the Security Council to tackle the problem.
“The regional security council is meeting Alavanyo purposely and meeting Nkonya separately. I think something good will come out of it.The military here in Alavanyo are re-positioning themselves. I think in the long run, something beneficial will come to us,” he stated.
