Citi FM’s Easter Orphan project came off successfully earlier today with donations made to the Kumasi Central Prison in the Ashanti Region, the Akuse Prison and the Baptist School Complex & Orphanage, both in the Eastern Region.
The project was supported by several institutions who participated immensely in the entire process, none more so than one of Ghana’s leading financial institutions, Stanbic bank

Staff of the bank were on hand to assist staff of the station and volunteers to bring smiles to the faces of the orphans.
It was from the bank who had already donated GHC 9,000 to the project.

Speaking to citifmonline.com, they expressed their joy at having been part of the Easter Orphan Project, describing it as an opportunity to give back to society.

They reiterated the bank’s commitment to ensuring a more enabling environment for the disadvantaged in society.
The Bank has been part of several other worthy causes and their continued participation in such is further proof of their commitment.
The Citi FM Easter Orphan Project is an annual Corporate Social Responsibility project under the Citi FM Foundation which aims to support some of Ghana’s registered orphanages in their bid to cater for the orphans.
