Cocaine case investigation still on – BNI

Four years after some parcels of cocaine turned into baking soda at the Police Headquarters, the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) has indicated that it is still investigating the case.

According to the investigator in the case Chief investigator Mahama, they have not been able to establish the identity of the individuals who perpetrated the act.

[contextly_sidebar id=”GczEWxlCkRdMas4ASrl0RDfSv7bZQu1H”]He made this revelation in court during cross-examination in the hearing of the DSP Mawuenyega Tehoda wrongful dismissal case.

During an earlier hearing, one of the investigators on the case told the Human Rights court that the Bureau of National investigations did not investigate the substantive matter.

Chief inspector Mahama who made this revelation during his testimony in chief, in the case where a Police officer DSP Gifty Tehoda is seeking reinstatement for wrongful dismissal over  her alleged involvement in the saga.

He said the BNI investigated the relationship between madam Tehoda and the suspect who brought cocaine into the country, Nana Ama Martins.

He further told the court that, their investigations showed Gifty Tehoda brought suspect from her cells at her Police headquarters to her office nine times and also aided her to sell her house.
