Michael Essien’s £75,000 Range Rover Vogue has been stolen by burglars who raided his home at Surrey in England.
According to the Mirror Online, the Police who confirmed the incident said it happened on April 7, 2015.
Reports indicate that Essien who now lives in Italy and playing for AC Milan, still owns the home which he purchased during his time at Chelsea.
A spokesman for Surrey Police told Mirror Online: “Officers have carried out a number of enquiries including extensive house-to-house in the local area and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.”
It has been reported that two other vehicles were stolen at a different address in Water Lane, Cobham, in the early hours of the morning, including a Mercedes and a BMW.
Meanwhile, no arrests have yet been made.
Essien, 32, arrived at Chelsea in 2005, joining from Lyon for a reported £24.4million.
He went on to play for Real Madrid before moving to Italy to play for AC Milan.
