Citi Business News has learnt several Ghanaian businesses based in South Africa have been forced to shut down following the latest xenophobic attacks there.

Five people have so far been killed in what has been described as the worst xenophobic violence in years.
In an interview with Citi Business News, the South African High Commissioner to Ghana, Lulama Xingwana assured that a ministerial task team has been set up by South African President Zuma to immediately address the issue.
The latest violence follows comments by the Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini, that foreigners should “pack their bags” and leave.
