The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection has appealed to the media and the general public to respect the privacy of the YFM presenter who was abducted and sexually assaulted by some gangsters.

Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka, known in media circles as Ms Ada was last Thursday kidnapped by some unknown persons who sexually abused her.

The suspects later took photos of their acts and shared on her Facebook.

The photos are still circulating on various social media platforms but the Gender Ministry says the practice must stop.

The Ministry described the incident as sad and charged the Police to find the perpetrators and bring them to book.

“The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection will follow this case closely to ensure that justice is done,” the statement added.
